Our Social Responsibility and Values
At Fynbo Foods, we take social responsibility seriously – towards our employees, the local community, and the value chain behind our products.
In 2024, we joined the UN Global Compact and are therefore committed to working in accordance with its ten principles covering human rights, labour rights, climate action, and anti-corruption. The same year, we also signed the DI Diversity Pledge and actively work to promote an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Employee Well-Being and Workplace Culture at Fynbo Foods
Our employees are essential to Fynbo Foods’ success, and their well-being is a key factor in the company’s continued positive development. In addition to ongoing dialogue between HR, managers, and employees, we have measured our social capital annually since 2012, focusing on trust, fairness, and collaboration.
Since 2023, we have also measured our eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) to monitor employee loyalty and engagement.

Our Commitment to the Future Workforce and Education
At Fynbo Foods, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to contribute to both social and educational initiatives. We actively support pathways into education and employment and work closely with the Hjørring Municipality Job Centre as well as other local and regional initiatives.
We are a guarantee partner in Hjørring Municipality’s Youth Guarantee Programme and participate in DA Open Company.
Each year, we engage in a range of partnerships with educational institutions across Northern Jutland, involving practical projects, assignments, and company visits.
To help educate the workforce of tomorrow, we have set a goal that at least 5% of our employees should consist of apprentices, trainees, students, or interns.
Our Managing Director, Richard Fynbo, has for many years actively contributed through board positions in organizations such as Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), Business Hub North Denmark, EUC Nord, and UCN, helping to strengthen collaboration between businesses and educational institutions.
Working with Our Suppliers
Although we manufacture our products in Denmark and comply with both Danish legislation and international conventions on human rights and labour rights, our responsibility does not stop there.
We source raw materials, ingredients, and packaging from around the world, and therefore our responsibility extends beyond Denmark’s borders.
