Governance

Our Governance Structure
Sustainability and ESG are firmly embedded throughout the organization, while overall governance is anchored at executive level through our Chief Legal Officer, working closely with the Environmental Coordinator.
Departments are responsible for day-to-day execution based on established objectives. Many activities are carried out as cross-functional projects involving multiple departments to ensure that all relevant aspects are assessed before new initiatives are implemented. Our quality management systems and policies for food safety and hygiene are always maintained and complied with – including when introducing new social and environmental initiatives.
Our Code of Conduct defines the requirements for suppliers and the value chain, but its principles also apply internally within the company. In addition, our internal HR policies help ensure that these requirements are consistently followed across the organization.
All new employees are introduced to our HR policies through our employee handbook and onboarding process. They are informed about our zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination, harassment, abusive behaviour, corruption, bribery, unlawful labour practices, forced labour, and child labour. In addition, all employees are introduced to our internal whistleblower scheme.
