At Fynbo Foods, we develop and produce jam and marmalade, preserves, fruit spread, fruit sauce, relish, and other fruit- and vegetable-based products for retail, foodservice, and industrial sectors. Today, we are one of the leading private label manufacturers in the Nordic region.

Fynbo Foods is more than just jam – we are a company driven by strong values, built on responsibility, collaboration, and a proactive mindset.

The story behind
Fynbo Foods

Fynbo Foods was founded in 2002 by five former colleagues from the jam industry, including myself. Our vision was to create a company in Vendsyssel — one that could establish a strong position in the market for fruit- and vegetable-based products. The ambition was to improve quality standards and make our products healthier and more sustainable.

Through strong business ethics, innovation, efficiency, and a team of dedicated employees, we have grown to become one of the leading producers within private label, Fairtrade, organic and no-added-sugar products. This development and position have been built on the trust and support of our suppliers, customers, and consumers

Why is it called Fynbo when you are located in Northern Jutland?

Fynbo Foods is named after its founder, Richard Fynbo. The company is located in Vrå in Northern Jutland, Denmark. Therefore, the company has no connection to the island of Funen.

In addition to the Fynbo brand, we also manufacture products that are sold under our customers’ own brands. This means that we are behind many products that are not marketed under the Fynbo name.

The factory is not open to the public, but we offer company tours for business partners and schools by appointment.

Our products can be found in many grocery chains in Denmark and abroad, both under the Fynbo brand and as private label products. Our product range varies from country to country and from store to store.

Responsibility for People and Nature

Fynbo Foods is built on responsibility and integrity – also in relation to our surroundings. Nature is our treasure trove of raw materials, and therefore we have a special responsibility to care for the environment.

At the same time, food is also about togetherness and connection. Meals bring us together and create opportunities to be present with one another.
